Our school library is small but cosy, and packed with books that even insecure readers are not afraid to dip their noses into. They can find books of fiction, children's poetry, very popular comics and various encyclopedias. We try to add new titles to the library, whether in Czech or English. Our reading corner can be used by our teachers with their pupils, the team, or the little bookworms themselves. It often happens that children lose track of time in our library and parents often wait for them.
Shared School Library in the Canteen
The Parents Association created a shared school library in the canteen for the children and parents of Duhovka Elementary School, which operates on the principle of a free book exchange. If you already have some books you have finished reading at home, bring them to share with others and if you find a book you want to read in the canteen library, feel free to borrow it.
